“A fantastic human being and an exceptional physician.”
I am in a state of shock. I am overwhelmed with sadness and anger. For over 25 years, I have been on the receiving end of this great man’s care, support, and kindness. He is a fantastic Human Being and an exceptional physician.

He has touched countless lives in his community. I saw him working tirelessly to re-establish hospice services in Southeast Louisiana and Mississippi after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

He risked his life providing care to COVID-19 patients in hospitals when most of his colleagues refused to work in an inpatient setting. His services, along with his staff, were nationally recognized. His team went door to door to educate and vaccinate thousands in underserved and impoverished communities.
A GOOD Samaritan

I have gone through my struggles with injustice in this land where my beloved wife was murdered by police while engaged in the act of good Samaritan.

INJUSTICE TARGETING OF OUR SUCCESS
Then, I was targeted by the DOJ, and now I am a convicted felon. I am not surprised at the outcome of Dr. Akula‘s trial. DOJ again succeeded in butchering justice.
“…My dear friend, Shiva, is a man of great faith and conviction. Nothing will break him. He has fought this battle with great courage…”

They targeted an innocent man who made the mistake of being successful as a minority physician. I know that his competitive hospice agencies have benefited from his misfortune. These companies were involved in bringing him down. In this case, the judge has been known to be corrupt and has engaged in endeavors with explicit conflicts of interest.
As Zahid said, he didn’t admit, treat, discharge, or certify the hospice services. He had a contract with Ochner physicians to provide these services.
The government never charged any of the Ochsner physicians or the organization. They practically never do. DOJ targets individual successful physicians and practices.

My dear friend, Shiva, is a man of great faith and conviction. Nothing will break him. He has fought this battle with great courage. He will persevere. Let’s hope and pray that he will succeed through this struggle that is not over yet.
