To all friends, families and well wishers of the Leslie family we continue to “Stand Our Ground.”
My sister and her husband would like to thank you for your prayers and kindness, as he continues to seek his quest for justice.
On May, 4, 2024, my sister’s husband was assaulted and threatened at his home by two people who lived in the community where he lived for 20 years and he in accordance to Florida Law, “Stood his Ground.” However, Norman was arrested facing now second deegree murder without Bond.
Norman and Jackie lived peacefully within the community and never had any issue with the law, prior to the incident. Sadly, the incident led to his arrest.
According to my sister, her family was willfully being harassed over a year and a half when the next family moved in.
They were never enemies, but the next family did not feel the same about my sister and her family. It appeared to stem from race and prejudice.
My sister said she now believed their Civil Rights were being violated But only now recognized that it led to the traumatic event.
Multiple complaints were made but ignored by the respective authorities. On the day in question the attacker conveyed that he had a weapon. The other party had what appeared to be a shiny object as well.
Norman is an Aeroplane Mechanic by profession, and has been on the job for 25 years. He has been licensed to carry a concealed
weapon for several years now.
Norman was an Honorable Military Veteran of the Jamaican Defense Forces. He understood what his rights were, particularly regarding gun ownership.
He is a man of Faith. And was waiting to retire from his current position as an Aero-Space Mechanic with only 2 more years to go.
He is a hard working man, and the main bread- winner. He is family oriented, father and grand- father. The families have requested your prayers and fasting for vindication.

Because it’s common knowledge that Black men in the United States, do not get the same legal representation, as non- blacks do, regardless of their ability to pay, or equal rights under the law, your financial help is needed.
Legal fees are mounting. We’d never imagine anything like this could happen to this family. It seems surreal.
We invoke the verse from Ephesians 6:13:
“ Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
