To all friends, families, and well-wishers of The Scott family, we, the family of Jacqueline and Norman Scott, would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support in this time of legal prosecution. I’d like to paint a picture of how we’ve gotten here.

introduction
Norman is an air plane Mechanic by profession, and has been on the job for 25 years. He has been licensed to carry a concealed weapon for several years now and understood what his rights were, regarding gun ownership. Norman is a man of Faith and was waiting to retire with only 2 more years to go.
He is a hard working man, and the main bread- winner. He is family oriented, father and grand- father. The families have requested your prayers and fasting for vindication.
The news has not been objective. in their account of the incident broadcasted on the arrest of Norman Scott.
Norman, a Jamaican Military Veteran beckoned and called his neighbor to remove the basketball pole and other articles from his property. Instead, the male spat and slapped Norman in the face, then threatened him with the weapon he said he had on him.

BACKGROUND
On Saturday, 5/4/24, Norman got up to go outside to water his lawn, as he usually does on his days off. He noticed that one of his Security Cameras was willfully manipulated; and the neighbour’s basketball pole was moved from the neighbour’s driveway to block the security camera as it leaned against the wall of Norman’s home.
He also observed two large rocks placed on the base of the basketball pole. His wife Jacqueline later noticed that the rocks were parts of the deceased landscape. It was obvious that someone had yanked these two stones from the yard’s landscape and staged this scene unbeknownst to the Scott’s.

Norman beckoned and called his neighbor to remove the basketball pole and other articles from his property. Instead, the male spat and slapped Norman in the face, then threatened him with the weapon he said he had on him. He didn’t know that Norman had a concealed weapon.
Norman also perceived that the female had a weapon simultaneously because he noticed she appeared holding a shiny object from the house.
In addition, he believed that due to manipulation and blockage of the camera, the recording from the security camera did not capture the activities of the day. The neighbor complained about Scott’s security cameras in the past months, frequently asking to have the cameras removed or relocated.

Norman and Jacqueline experienced racism and harassment after several complaints in retaliation. Although they were a source of help to the family, the new neighbour did not reciprocate. They were often disrespectful and always disregard their rights.
In the 18 years they lived there, they always abided by the rules of the HOA based on the association’s requirements. But the family came in and were allowed to thrash these same rules. Yet there was never any altercation before.
discussion
Despite the racism, the Scotts remained neighborly. They Scott’s were not able to identify what they were experiencing all along was racial discrimination until the unthinkable happened on 5/4/24, they never thought that tragedy would strike.

They endured it all despite their complaints not being acknowledged. Records show that the Scotts had made several complaints to those in charge at the HOA and the landlord of the home that the couple lived in, but to no avail.
Norman had not been involved with the law prior to this situation. He has worked hard over the years and faithfully taken great care of his family. He and Jacqueline were instrumental in building up their home church and were counselors for many years. They are an exemplary family. They’ve been empty nesters, with their kids moving on to start out in life and they waiting to retire.

STAND YOUR GROUND HAS NOT BEEN APPLIED EQUALLY IN DeSANTISBURG (FLORIDA)

We’re sincerely saddened that we are in this dark place today. But we depend on the Lord. We pray for justice because the two people were caucasians and they can do no wrong. Norman is still waiting for his day in court.
Recently, the charge was lowered from 1st degree to second degree murder carrying life in prison. We believe this is spiritual warfare. We believe in miracles. And Jesus is the defender of justice. . We look to God who is the Author and finisher of our faith.

Racial discrimination is painful. It is real and it’s too often ignored by those that are in authority to protect those that complain. The stand your ground law states, that if a homeowner is threatened and feels that threat while on his/her property, outside of public spaces / in private spaces , you have the right to stand your ground immediately if you believe that you can not retreat safely.
Please help us bring Norman home!!!
Norman was in his yard when he was attacked he was Standing his ground. The other parties attacked him. He defended his family. Please help us bring Norman home. There is quite a bit of evidence to support that Norman’s action was justified by the law .
We ask that you pray with us for his safety while he’s still in custody. The evidence and law is on his side but is being ignored. He’s taken accountability. I have inserted the law that we believed covered Norman Scott and should provide him immunity from this heinous situation.

Norman is innocent until proven otherwise. Norman was licensed to carry a weapon and he knows the principles and faith in Jesus Christ.
We are sincerely requesting your prayers and help for his defense to pay his lawyers and for vindication. He was forced to stand his ground within the law, to protect his home and family which were violated and once again threatened by the other two individuals on 5/4/24.
