On June 1, 2022, Dr. Preston Phillips a renowned black Orthopedic Spine Surgeon was murdered in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was murdered by a black patient who felt his pain wasn’t being addressed. Also killed on Wednesday, were Dr. Stephanie Husen, receptionist Amanda Glenn and visitor William Love, police said. The attack occurred on the campus of Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa. The chief identified the shooter as Michael Louis, 45, of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

While this appears to be an isolated event, it is the culmination of years of law enforcement interference in the practice of medicine. Health care providers have been arrested, convicted, and incarcerated for prescribing opiate pain medication.

This was an “A Tragic And Preventable Death” DOJ and DEA are directly responsible.

The CDC published guidelines in 2016 further exacerbating the problem. Health care providers fearing incarceration started to cut back on their prescribing of opiate pain medication even when they knew their treatment was inadequate.

Some health care providers stopped prescribing opiate pain medication altogether. Patients had their medication reduced or stopped. Patients overdosed and committed suicide. Physicians went to jail and lost everything. Some physicians even committed suicide.

No one has been willing to admit that the DOJ/DEA and state AG’S have caused more deaths than all the health care providers combined.

They will even deny that they had a role in Dr. Phillips’s death. Inaction and bad actions caused the recent deaths of 21 individuals in Texas and 10 deaths in New York. Inaction and bad actions caused the death of Dr. Phillips.
