There exists a children’s book written by accomplished author Harvey Jenkins, a Harvard-trained Spine Surgeon with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, called “Doctor Harvey Goes to Jail.” It has not been banned yet by the Oklahoma State Legislature , but it will because the author of the book is also Gay and classified by law enforcement as a street drug dealer who faced 29 drug felonies and was never tried in a Court.

The prologue reads:

For Dr. Jenkins, professional vulnerability was compounded by the intersection of race and identity, leading to what can be described as the “District 6 Museum” effect—the systematic expulsion of a community of color and the displacement of a “hero” of LGBTQ+ history.

The themes of “Practicing Medicine While Black” and Dr. Jenkins’ status as a prominent member of the LGBTQ+ community created a unique vulnerability.

These identifiers, combined with the pervasive “stigma that encompasses people in pain,” allowed the state to treat a compassionate specialist as a social pariah. Regarding the legal framework, Oklahoma law (and its federal counterparts) restricted medical judgment through three critical failures:

1. The Criminalization of Dosing: Law enforcement utilized prescriptive volume as a proxy for criminal intent, a strategy reliant on “junk science”rather than clinical necessity for the intractable pain patient.

2. Legislative Displacement of Clinical Expertise: State laws allowed non-medical actors and prosecutors to override the specialized judgment of a Harvard-trained surgeon, effectively replacing medical science with political theater.

3. The “Trap” of Patient Abandonment: The legal climate created a “repressive” environment where physicians were pressured to “fire” patients to avoid scrutiny, forcing vulnerable individuals into a cycle of untreated suffering and despair.

This environment of overreach resulted in devastating consequences for both the provider and the community.

THE SPINE OF HARVEY JENKINS

Harvey Jenkins (1964- present) is an American physician, businessperson, scientist, educator, philanthropist, and author. He was born in Fayetteville, NC, the son of an art professor and mathematics teacher. He is a graduate of The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a BS degree in Chemistry. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from West Virginia University Health Sciences Center.

He obtained his Medical Degree at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. He did his Residency Training in Orthopedic Surgery at Robert C Byrd Health Sciences Center in Morgantown, WV. He was fellowship-trained at Harvard in Spine Surgery. He has experience in Orthopedics, Pain Management, Aesthetic Medicine, and Pageantry. Through his Medical Spa, he has served as an Editorial Contributor for Pageantry Magazine, and he has had a number of clients who have reached the top of American Beauty Pageants.

“For an opinion on the question, one might ask Dr. Harvey Jenkins, a Harvard-educated spine surgeon with a Ph.D. in biochemistry. Jenkins currently finds himself trapped in a Kafka-esque nightmare — one where the American dream and all for which it stands has kicked him in the head.

Jenkins has been in Oklahoma City for some 15 years, the last nine of which were spent practicing in pain management. On Jan. 26, 2015, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Oklahoma Attorney General’s office (then under Scott Pruitt) raided his medical office. 

On March 24, 2016, Jenkins and his staff were charged with 29 felonies. While there is a multitude of charges, Oklahoma law enforcement has officially told the taxpayers that Jenkins was over-prescribing opioid pain medication.

As healthcare providers, we are defined by our profession and shaped by our ability to treat people’s diseases and the pathologies of their disease states. Physicians, pharmacists, and dentists in pain care are the most compassionate and most affected people.

This simple knowledge and training allow us to resist being defiled by the enemies of medical science. The medical profession is being criminalized, and DOJ-DEA prosecutors are out to destroy us based on the crazed sociopathic beliefs that their personal legal careers (scalps padded with doctors and pharmacists) will lead them to a path to higher legal dominion.

Our achievements are trophies and scalps, and they learned to target those with ambition, those with drive, those who refuse to be subjugated, and when these doctors have suppressed the others, they will know to remain silent and get in line. 

Once without untreated pain and suffering people rage they can turn that rage inside themselves and they will either become depressed or drug addicts to soothe their pain. Everything is perfectly predictable you kill the good people you have more bad people around eventually the bad people will kill you.

THE PRESCRIPTION OPIOID CRISIS WAS BOGUS AND STATE-FEDERAL AUTHORITIES KNEW THESE FACTS

The 5 deaths in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 1, 2022, were preventable, and prosecutors and the DOJ-DEA knew all the time that the claim that prescription opioids were causing an opioid crisis was bogus.

The Oklahoma law restricted physicians’ medical judgment and treatment and has resulted in deaths.

The bottom line is that the prescription opioid pandemic was bogus, whose foundation relied upon junk science at best and persecution. These families must start a class action suit…. as Malcolm X said, we have been bamboozled, hoodwinked, and led astray.

Harvey Jenkins, MD, William Love, Stephanie Huesen, MD, Amanda Glenn, Preston Phillips, and countless-nameless people are victims of the State of Oklahoma’s and the United States Department of Justice, DEA’s madness in which thousands of Intractable Pain Patients (chronic Pain patients) have killed themselves or perished suffering while being denied pain treatment.

On the other hand, there will be others who will externalize their rage into mass shootings.
