Earlier this week we were joined by Dr. Norman Clement, and Dr. Felix Brizuela, both of whom were featured in our “Criminalization of Black and Brown Doctors” panel, and Stanley Gray, a human resource professional in Florida to issue a warning and call to action to the Black community.
Dr. Clement was infected with COVID after recently attending a fraternity event in Florida; he was just released from the hospital on August 1.
“The event was held on Saturday, and by Monday my phone was ringing with news that over 70 brothers had COVID,” said Clement. “And I’m vaccinated,” he added.
Although a resurgence of COVID has arrived with bells on, we have heard little to nothing about it in the in mainstream media.
A staff member of On Point with Juandolyn Stokes reached out to the CDC to confirm the active spread of COVID and to question why we have not heard any news from the CDC.
This is the statement from the CDC in part:
The United States has experienced increases in COVID-19 during the past three summers, so it’s not surprising to see an uptick. At this time, CDC’s genomic surveillance indicates that the increase in infections is caused by strains closely related to the Omicron strains that have been circulating since early 2022.
“Florida is not truly reporting. In our community, we have a lot of people who lack trust. Only 17% of people took the booster,” said Gray.
He added, “I would not come here, and I will not be attending my fraternity’s conclave because it’s my personal protest, and I don’t think it’s healthy.”
Dr. Brizuela said, “I was a microbiologist before I became a doctor. The virus reproduces in a very efficient manner and becomes stronger than the disease. COVID is a stealth virus that never leaves your body similar to HIV and Lyme Disease.”
The bottom line is COVID is in effect and people who are vaccinated are becoming infected. Therefore, it is a good idea to practice safety protocols masking up, washing your hands, and social distancing.
“It [COVID] is now endemic and it is here to stay. The resurgence is inevitable. When it dips, it is mutating,” said Brizuela.

I will never understand why vaccinations are/were required but were not effective in preventing covid and inductees into the GET THE JAB SO YOU DON’T GET COVID GROUP were ok with that. Mycardarditis is linked to this vaccine. Same group seemed ok with that too. What is a thinking person to think? My Husband and I had covid twice. He, hospitalized 18 days was transferred back to his new convalescent hospital only to be dx AGAIN again a month later. When I threw a fit and said no way. Test him again. He untested… He was negative for covid. They were surprised. I wasn’t. Since I knew the facility got the megabucks for covid patients there, I assumed they faked the test to receive said money. HAS OUR GOVERNMENT ALWAYS LIED TO US?? WAS IT ALWAYS ABOUT THEIR PERSONAL SAVINGS ACCOUNT PROVIDED BY US SHEEP WHO BELIEVE THEY “DO what is best for THE USA?” THIS SHOULDN’T BE SO CONVALUDED.
