NURSING’S DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS HELP TO KILL YOU AND YOUR DOCTORS
“A recent interview with WAOK highlights the wrongs that must be made right. Many Black nurses are homeless and living below the poverty line if they are over 50 years old because our names were added to the “DO NOT RETURN” (DNR) list and used in a defamatory way to hinder us from being hired.”
THE PURGE

SHEDDING LIGHT ON THE PURGE
NURSE DONNA FLETCHER, RN, WRITES:

Dear Reverend Al,
Thank you for speaking to me during the 8/30/23 show. You represents the best of the Civil Rights Movement and we bring our cause before you, “Healthcare dirty little secret,” the ousting of our Black nurses, and doctor’s the middle and upper middle class in the Black communities. We are being discriminated and need your help to expose the deception.
I advocate for Black nurses that have been experiencing this ousting. Dr Clement is the voice for the Black doctors and will speak on both our behalves.
I’ll give an account of the history and the process of when and how the Black nurses’ are being removed from their nursing practices in one of the most conspicuous places, the acute care hospitals. The hospital is the place that provides healing and restoration after an episode of illness.
In the US there are approximately 300,000 nurses; that’s about 1 nurse, for every one thousand people. And that’s below baseline. If as much as everyone gets sick for example, as we saw during COVID19 Pandemic, many will die.
Imagine living in your community without nurses to work in the hospitals. it would be like the third world countries. Yet that’s probably happening in the hospitals near you.
Hundreds of qualified nurses are being blocked from taking jobs. They are licensed Black nurses whose names have been targeted. There is an agenda to take the Black nurses out and replace them with with fair skinned nurses.
California, leads the way to closing down Black hospitals and maternity units at the expense of using nurses from the Filipinos or Caucasians to replace the Black nurses, placing these nurses in charge positions to continue the assault on nurses of color.
The DNR policy initiated 2008 was once used for practitioners that committed malpractice, placing them on DNR lists is now being used for non clinical issues that have been concocted against mostly Black-nurses, to prevent us from practicing in the state, with the intention of taking the nurses’ licenses in the long run. It’s a scheme encouraged by Key players affecting licensures and practice of practitioners: take for example Adventist hospitals and Kern Medical Bakersfield, Centinela in Los Angeles. There are many more Hospital that I won’t list here, including
1. The State Board of Nursing
2 Join Commissioner
3. Each hospital and the agencies; vendors)
Policies are created to legitimize this discrimination because these policies affect mostly the Black Nurses.
The staffing agencies that recruits for the hospitals conspire to keep the names of Black nurses ousted. Staffing agencies that specializes in recruiting nurses ie., Krucial staffing as late as 9/1/2023 sent out a request for ICU RNs needed to work for a hospital they staff , but when I contact them the told me that I needed to have a higher degree in nursing. When I questioned them about the discrimination they said that’s what the hospital asked for. I’m am a registered nurse with more than 15 years of experience yet I was not qualified.
In addition, the Boards of Nursing is aware that numerous names of nurse is being placed on these Do Not Return List. They ignore the complaints from the nurses involved. These lists target Black nurses discriminately. And the policies are wrongfully used to give them the power to do so is discriminatory.
One such hospital has used the policy to block hundreds of Black nurses in relation to others by using heresays to do so. Please see the copy of the list which maintained in data bases and is preventing nurses from practice even though they have clean records to practice as nurses.
THE PURGE THE ANALYSIS IS IN READING
GRAPHIC PHOTOS HOSPITAL “DO NOT RETURN LIST; THE MAJORITY ON THIS LIST ARE BLACK

THE DNR LIST
My name appears on the lists along with other nurses that are a part of my advocacy team. I can tell you that, we were not aware that our names were on the list at the time I was told I could not go back to work at the hospital by my staffing agency. Neither was there any incidental occurrence. My license is clean. Here’s a nugget for you, And I have never been reported to the Board of Nursing. Five percent of Black nurses are now employed in the whole state compared to 95 percent of the non- Black nurses.
In addition, a charge that was prepared by the San Francisco Legal Aid, on behalf of myself who have been blocked for more than 10 years. This charge was sent to the EEOC because the lawyer said they lack the funding to handle it. I had no money or consistent work and was not able to pay a lawyer at the time. But the EEOC rejected it. And refuse to investigate amongst the many complaints made. The Fair housing has not done their due diligence as the EEOC has a duty to file these charges with them.
In 2019 my group DMF Nursing Registry took to petitioning a black Community Hospital MLK Community Hospitals after they terminated a number of blacks from their staff positions for reasons such as to hire non Black nurses, like Filipinos and caucasians nurse from other cities to work on staff as managers. These staff nurses who have less experienced, received benefits ie., educational incentive, a benefits that’s denied to the Black nurses discriminately. This is absolutely disgusting. We need Justice now!
After this petition ,politicians at the Los Angeles City Hall and testify against the discrimination in CA as well as nationally against the Black nurses. Sadly MLK Community Hospital did nothing to change recourse.
We took the case to the Senate and to the Governor in Sacramento.
The argument was that because of the lack of investigation by the EEOC we needed a local office to handle these discrimination complaints.
See below, the letter from Gov Gavin Newsom’s decision.
