Multiple papers over the past 15 years demonstrate conclusively that the US “opioid crisis” has been driven by illegally manufactured or diverted drugs in street markets — NOT by doctors prescribing to legitimate patients in an ongoing patient-doctor relationship.
The same data reveals that hundreds of DOJ, DEA, and State law enforcement court proceedings comprise malicious and unfounded prosecution of doctors who have actually done nothing wrong.
This data includes the medical records of over 35 million commercially insured or Veterans Administration patients, many of whom were followed for up to six years after documented clinical encounters.

This is HORRIBLE! But I see and am suffering as it happens! I have a well-documented pain case, that every other possible intervention has been used.. and have been in some form of morphine for many years.

I am astounded by this rock-solid evidence. The direct contradiction of their own standards is nothing more than a word salad of complete ignorance and hypocrisy, which resulted in the early and preventable death of my mother-in-law. he triumph The DEA is attacking American Medicine because it’s ‘easy’, politicized and beneficial for their own personal promotion of rank and public noteriety, and a much safer venue because of dirty agents and cowardice. Meanwhile, per my own experiences with law enforcement – the true transgressors- the Sinaloa, Tijuana, Caborca, Zeta, Noreste Neuvo Laredo, Los Talibanes, San Fernando, Los Matzalecos, Juarez, Matamoros and Las Zetas Vieja Escuela Monterrey, Families are moving truckloads of Fentanyl across the borders of Texas, New Mexico and my home state of Arizona.
