The provided texts primarily discuss the challenges and systemic injustices faced by Black physicians in the United States, particularly concerning regulatory scrutiny and alleged racial bias.

They highlight the experiences of Rev. Dr. Ronald V. Myers, MD, a prominent advocate for pain care equity and the “Father of Juneteenth,” who was reportedly targeted by the DEA and Department of Justice.

The sources also detail numerous instances of Black healthcare providers facing “sham peer review,” Medicare fraud accusations, and disciplinary actions from state medical boards, often with economic competition or racial discrimination as underlying motives.

Furthermore, the texts raise concerns about corruption within the DEA, with claims of agents engaging in fraudulent activities and a general ineffectiveness in the “war on drugs,” and how this potentially intersects with the targeting of minority healthcare professionals.

A WARRIOR OF PAIN CARE EQUITY, “A DOCTOR WITH COURAGE,” WHO DIED FIGHTING FOR ALL PEOPLE: REPUBLISHED AN AMERICAN HERO

Dr. Ronald Myers was a leading advocate for health care to the poor and disenfranchised. The founder and chairman of The American Pain Institue and the Myers Foundation For Indigent Health Care and Community Development.

A 1985 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School and residency in Family Practice at L.S.U. Medical Center, Doc Myers was a leading national advocate for health care for the poor and disenfranchised.

In 1990 he became the first ordained and commissioned medical missionary to serve in America’s poorest region, the Mississippi Delta, in the history of the African American church.

Dr. Myers provided health care to the poorest Americans through clinics in Tchula, Belzoni, Yazoo City, Indianola, Greenville, and Tupelo, Mississippi. He went on missions outreach to Kenya and Israel.

Pain Patient Advocacy Week

Doc Myers led his last Pain Patient Advocacy Week in Washington, DC, from April 23 to 30, 2018. Although he wasn’t feeling up to par when he came to Washington, he used all his energy to lead the movement.

Possibly because of that self-sacrifice, he did not have the reserves when he returned home, and his health deteriorated over the next few months.  He is truly a martyr to the cause, and Chronic Pain Patients should lift him up forever for the support he gave.

If you would like to leave a tribute to Doc, please leave a comment below.  Eventually, this segment will be moved to Doc’s own page as an ambassador on the membership site.

EASY ENFORCEMENT TARGETS

Rev. Ronald V. Myers, Sr., MD, was a family practitioner in Mississippi. He lost his license because of attacks on him by the state of Oklahoma.

The charges were dropped, but his license was never restored to active status because of fines levied on him by the Board of Medicine for the unfounded investigation they led against him. In other words, “Pay us for attacking you without just cause.”

Further, the DEA specifically preys upon the practitioners of color, especially older practitioners of both races, as they are deemed likely to be more property-rich.

This allows DEA to seize larger, more valuable assets from their victims, and it is further assumed these practitioners are less likely to fight back, making them easier enforcement targets.

Most importantly, the areas in the United States which have sustained the highest deaths of African American deaths from COVID are ironically nearly the exact same areas of the country where DEA-DOJ has targeted physicians, pharmacists, dentists, and healthcare providers of color and have been removed.

GHANA BOY

Incurable disabled activists have a new and most welcome advocate Ghanaboy PharmD (will respect his anonymity by using his handle). His YouTube videos are informative, enlightening, educational, and deeply personal.

One in particular caught my attention regarding the most loathed document in American history — The Centers for Disease Control Guidelines Prescription Guidelines. Flaws highlighted in his excellent video are the low-tier evidence scores, the core expert group only having one “pain expert” who no longer practices medicine.

All public and private sectors are now weaponizing these suggestions as the law was constructed in an academic standard barely acceptable for a college thesis. Suggestions have always been the keyword.
