Just scrolled through for the first time. It’s like walking on the wild side!!!
The medical system here in Farmington NM is collapsing at the hospital. I’ve talked to many here, and they smell what I’m stepping in. This is all due to the govt malfeasance and corruption within the system. Doctors are persecuted and treated as criminals. Yet the newer ones are robotic and lack compassion. It is lost these days and I am not surprised but do feel bad things coming. WTF are they teaching now in medical schools about pain?
Shit rolls downhill, and at the very bottom are older legacy pain patients. I just went through HELL with cervical stenosis pain newly diagnosed (it screams level 10+and I’ve almost collapsed medically). ER here is no help because it is me, and if they treat me badly, I talk about it. I have fought at the ER here to no avail and am too weak to keep that up. I am going slowly to the head of the hospital admin about the ER situation when I am recovered. There is likely a target on your forehead if you are an older pain patient, especially if you are vocal. I am worn out by it.
We are not equipped to handle merciless bad medical treatment by discontinuing rapidly the meds we took for many years, and we lose stability medically with these forced fast tapers (not done in any medically appropriate way and lacking medical reason). I have to say, a few docs in every state in 2016 could have gone to legislators and shut this shit down. Given the finger to the CDC guidelines and said fuck them, I will decide how to treat patients. They did not do it.
We continue to fight for our doctors, especially the good ones who were persecuted. This shit is evil and will cause great suffering and a collapse. Then, it all falls down and lands on top of us. It has happened here already.
Please go comment on the Federal Register about their plans to limit opioid supplies here and increase the flow of amphetamines, which do not address deadly chronic pain. We have until the 24th. Do it. There is too much disaster at stake to allow this.

What you say is so right on. I’m new to these damn phones or whatever they are called and can barely type. Anyway I have typed for an hour or so and then loose everything.
Well anyway our medical system is going to collapse if they don’t get together and get the law out of there.
The last time I went to the ER in suffer deadly pain the doctor and nurse asked
Me what they should do and by the time
I vented they were the medical professionals the whole of the ER were at the door. I then told them I was going to go outside get a rock and throw it through the window and slit my throat.
After taking 3 or 4 more patients they eventually took me to a room and gave me a small tablet to relieve monstrous
pain.
