AS A CONDITION OF BAIL
There appears to be an assault on black physicians at all levels. Black residents are being accused of being “inferior.” They are being brought before review boards without any representation.
This is also a process used in hospitals against black staff physicians. Black physicians are being arrested and incarcerated. They are forced to surrender their medical and DEA licenses as a condition for bail, depriving them of revenue to adequately defend themselves long before trial, which in some cases has been postponed for more than eight years.

Dr, Mark Ibsen, MD……
“No doubt injustice happens to all, and more often to black and brown patients and doctors. I’m not black, Which is an asset in this conversation, as I have come face to face, with LOSS of my privilege,
Losing my “white Privilege”has opened my eyes, for sure. They were possible other reasons I was targeted, including my age, and the fact that the board of medicine needed a scapegoat in order to make their point about prohibiting opiates to patients.
Due to violations of my due process rights during my battle against the Montana board of medicine. I wrote an amicus brief, in Ruan vs. United States edited by my attorney John Flannery “
LETTER TO PARLIAMENT OF INDIA: SUCCESSFUL INDIAN PHYSICIANS ARE NAMED AND SHAMED, ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILIES
In a letter to the Parliament of India it was reported:
“On January 10, 2023, prominent Indian physician, Dr. Shiva Akula, filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (Miami) (23-CV-60034) against, among others, an insurance agency acting on behalf of the American Government. Dr. Akula, an internationally recognized physician and philanthropist, claims that he was criminally indicted on August 5, 2021, consequent to a scheme perpetrated by his market competitors and governmental prosecutors.

THE ELEMENTS OF CONSPIRACY HAVE BEEN CODIFIED
The lawsuit details the method of the conspiracy and how the criminal indictment is purposed to eliminate Dr. Akula from the American healthcare market to permit his competitors to seize his business and personal assets:
“The indictment and subsequent prosecution were a consequence of a conspiracy concocted by Defendants Passages, Anderson, and co-conspirator William Cassidy, Esq, all of whom stood to profit at the expense of Plaintiff Akula, through respectively, increased market share by eliminating Akula and seizing his business assets, a ‘whistleblower’ fee, and legal fees for Plaintiff Akula’s criminal defense.”
“The elements of this conspiracy have been codified in various government-insurance industry pamphlets and ‘playbooks’ under the guise of a secret agreement entered into by the insurance industry and certain governmental agencies, in or about 2010/2012.”

“..SIMPLY PUT DEA-DOJ THEY ARE NOT GETTING AWAY WITH INTIMIDATION, HARASSMENT BY REDEFINING MEDICAL PROTOCOLS “WE DOCTORS ARE NOT AFRAID THESE CROOKED JUDGES, PROSECUTORS AND THE DEA THUGGERY..”

Dr.Mark Ibsen, MD…
“I listened to the audacious Audacy show today. Outstanding presentation of a highly complex issue,And passion was certainly present.“

“…THESE HARD WORKING INDIAN DOCTORS ARE NOT CRIMINALS AND WE WILL NO LONGER TOLERATE THESE INJUSTICES…”
“The tactics employed against Plaintiff Akula have been employed, since at least 2012, against many other successful and innocent Indian physicians, most of whom remain incarcerated in American jails.”
These hardworking Indian doctors, once they become successful, they’re portrayed as criminals that came to this country to steal the American dollar as if their contribution to this country’s healthcare system is worth nothing.
In addition to the American lawsuit, Dr. Akula’s family has initiated legal action against the State of Louisiana and others in the Indian courts on the principal charge that the American prosecutor/judge violated his human rights by preventing him from attending his mother’s funeral

WE CAN WIN WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER AGAINST INJUSTICES

If you look at criminal law, individuals are entitled to a speedy trial. There are set periods in the legal system, but none for individuals accused in healthcare cases. Because of this, a “Comprehensive Strategy” is necessary.
There has to be a targeted approach with guidelines developed by the NMA. Every case has to be evaluated and decided based on facts. Accusers cannot be anonymous. The accused has to be given a chance to defend themselves.
There is a song that had an impact on me. The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir sings it. The title is “I Never Lost My Praise.” In it are four of the most Phrases I never lost my Hope, I never lost my joy, I never lost my faith, and most of all, I never lost my praise. This song represents what I’ve been clinging to since I was unfairly arrested in February 17th, 2021.
We must never lose hope. If we do that, then the enemy has won before the battle begins. So if you, like me, have been unfairly accused, never give up.
