According to Andrew Kolodny MD, who directed the US CDC guidelines, “We will have to wait until they die off, would mean approximately 70 million people who suffer pain would be committed to death by suffering intractable pains of, cancer, sickle cell anemia, sarcoidosis, degenerative bones disease, or any chronic pain disorder notwithstanding our children, veterans, older people.

1. What type of terrioism would Andrew Kolodny MD., program be called.
2. How many Doctors is DEA prepared to arrest and imprisoned under the Kolodny Plan.

This would be quite a radical approach and a violation of one’s Hippocratic oath as a physician and a violation of one’s human rights

I live in the United States of America and if I didn’t know better by looking at this list, I would swear I lived in a country that believed in torture. Or are we actually enforcing genocide and Third Reichtactics now? I’m not laughing. This is no joke.

Do you think this will end with Chronic Pain and Rare Disease patients, America? Opiates are the most useful drugs in the American arsenal. They are not going anywhere! And they are NOT killing your kids, brothers, sisters, parents, and friends. What is?

But that doesn’t mean they are NOT a Chronic Pain Patient. It means they aren’t as bad as the other one— yet.”

DEA agents lack knowledge and understanding of Opioid Pain receptors but armed with badges, guns, and profound stupidity, are imposing their new misguided mission onto the medical profession; (nurses, pharmacists, physicians, dentists, drug wholesalers, and their patients) 

Josh Bloom Ph.D. has previously stated:

“A study from the Journal of the American Medical Association tells us what anyone with two functioning brain cells already knows: When patients on long-term opioid therapy have their meds tapered, bad things happen. Here are the details.”

According to Professor Leo Beletsky and Jeremiah Goulka, (ii.) Director of Northeastern University’s Health in Justice Action Lab, where Jeremiah Goulka was a senior fellow in their September 17, 2018, New York Times article; “Congress Must Investigate.”.

” It is more than clear Congress must take actions to reform or disband The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).”

The New York Times article called the Federal Agency That Fuels The Opioid Crisiswritten “The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has proved itself incompetent for decades,” it has been notably reported;

“The agency’s enforcement strategies, and the support it has lent to local and state police departments, have also fueled abusive police tactics including dangerous no-knock-raids and ethnic profiling of drivers.”

CONGRESS: CLEAN UP THIS MESS !!!

It is past time for Congress to correct the mess they have made of the regulation of opioid pain relievers. Here is contact information for your Senators, Representatives, and governor’ offices. Call them and demand that they:

1. familiarize themselves with the problems they have created by reading this article in STAT news.
2. begin work on legislation to force the repeal of the CDC Guidelines
3. reign in regulators and drug enforcement authorities from their senseless and unfounded persecution of doctors.

To make it easy for them here is model legislation that, if enacted, will do all of the above.
